Tiarella

Hi all,

Does anyone know what could be eating the new flower buds off my Tirella? The foliage is intact but just empty stalks where the flowers should be coming by now. I planted it last year and it's thriving but now the flowers (or would be flowers more like) appear to have been eaten by something....
