Sowing sweet peas?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking at sowing some sweet peas tomorrow directly into the ground at my allotment. It's not too late to do so is it?

Or would I be best sowing into pots indoors and then transplanting in a few weeks?

Ideal time to sow direct Jordan. I've often done it at this time of year as it can be too cold, wet and miserable in April up here and they just sit there and sulk. Sowing now will give you flowers till a bit later in the year image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
