I am looking at an Elite (high eaves) Greenhouse with toughened glass and bar capping. Does anyone have experience of this brand? Also I'm looking for an installer and don't know where to start, is this something landscapers would do? Thanks

Hi Aisling. I own one of these with all your specifications - in - black and its really great. Mine is 8 x 8 (in old money!). I bought mine from the makers near Bolton and they do install them for clients but luckily I have a brother who 'does' and he and I erected mine between us. One of the best purchases I have made.
We had one well over thirty years ago at my parents house. It's still there and is in perfect condition. That one is glazed in horticultural glass.
Now I have my own garden we have an Elite one here, this has toughened glass but not the bar capping. It also has the integral staging down one side.
We built it ourselves with no issues. We took it apart and re assembled it when we moved house with no issues. It's sturdy and works well.
I would get another without hesitation.

I have an Elite GH which I ordered a couple of months ago. It is lovely (just a small one for a small garden) but green powder-coated and very smart I originally wanted a high eaves one, but couldn't get one in the small size I needed. No matter - I am thrilled with what I have got.
I opted for self-installation. Now that was a mistake! The instructions seem to have been written in Urdu, translated into Greek, thence into French with a final stab at English! It took ages to work it all out - and it wasn't easy. The end result, however, is lovely, and almost justifies the troubles that it caused!
My recommendation would be to order it and arrange (albeit at a price) for it to be erected for you. You will find that your fingernails will remain unbitten, your temper will be restrained and, if you are married, your relationship is less likely to be in jeopardy!
