Potting on

When potting on 9cm pots, do you go from a 9cm up to a 1lt pot ?  (not sure what that is in cm, they seems to jump and switch around from cm to litres....)

Thanks for any help, I have some echinacea that look like they need potting on, just not sure which size to put them into.

    Hi, chose a pot slightly bigger, if you can't find one have to go to the next size:)

    Any pot that is slightly bigger, but not too much bigger.
