First flower on my 'ville de lyon' clematis. image

Little plant bought last year, currently living in a black flower bucket (freebie from asda) until I find a spot in the garden for it.

More of a deep raspberry pink colour in real life, the camera on my tablet seems to make it look more purplish.

Hi aym. The one in the photo is a baby Pieris "little heath", another one waiting for a permanent spot.

The weigela is the monster in the front garden, must be about 10ft high. image

Weigela Florida varigata I think?  It has the white edge not the yellowy one.

  • More gorgeous blooms!

Aym, i love your purple pansy, but i have to say i have a soft spot for the little violas that i can spot in the background... I started with a few when we moved in and they pop up wherever they please and in lovely colours. Maybe we need a viola 2016 thread when we run out of fabulous aquilegias to look at!

i'm waiting for my peony to flower for the first time this year... I hope it's half as beautiful as the one i've seen here.
