Not a fan of the changes to the forum so far .

It takes an age to find a particular thread you are looking for .Hope the powers that be listen to the people who use this forum and that majority of people don't like it so far.

Hope you's change it back too a similar system of finding a thread more easy

    Thanks

    Baz

Novice on here and trying to start a new thread to help me identify a plant. Can anyone guide me as to how to post an image of my plant?

DK - I don't see a problem posting links to sites.  I have done it before when citing A4A or the RHS as good places to find particular advice.   However, it is another thing entirely to entice people away to another gardening forum because you want to desert this one.

If we are to maintain the sense of community here and keep the light handed moderation we really do need to be patient and give the techy team time to fix things.

  • Obs - I could be wrong, but I think probably Daniel values the current membership highly and would be concerned by any attempt to lure members away. I don't think he has any problem with posting links in the way we always have.

DK - I refer you to your post suggesting a new forum be started for the disgruntled and Daniel's understandable response.

I think 99% are disgruntled, however Daniel has promised change, so if the modifications work patience would be good. I know the criticism has stung better than a nest of wasps, so let's give them a chance.

With all the scrolling needed on this new site, I am getting a bad case of pins and needles. Not happy.

Ceres - we're making changes to the forum design this week which will improve the issue of 'too much white space' and excessive scrolling. You'll find our latest technical update here:

We're locking this thread now to confine all bug reports and technical issues to one thread - please post any issues here:
