THEFT FROM ALLOTMENTS.

Hello fellow gardeners , has anyone been subjected to theft on their allotment ? on tuesday of this week i went to visit my allotment and prepared to carry out some work THEN noticed my greenhouse door had been smashed , other peoples sheds broke into ,tools stolen,cast iron garden furniture stolen plants removed and stolen and believe me or not even MY GARDEN GNOMES, you know its heartbreaking to know you put all this hard work in then someone takes it AWAY (Police have been informed)

Oh that's awful, my heart goes out to you. It beggars belief that people can be so horrid
. We've not had anything stolen (mind you we haven't done much yet with our plot) but I was chatting to an allotment neighbour last week who said that he had his prize-winning chickens stolen a few years back. It's just unbelievable when people put such hard work, love and dedication into thier plots and this kind of thing happens.
Hello fellow gardeners thank you for your comments, we had some results regarding the theft but not the results we were hoping for we found out who was involved but no Idea of the whereabouts of the items stolen , the Coventry evening telegraph has published a article on its website, so may be this will help.
