Hi Michelle, good luck with your new house and baby (when he or she arrives). With a new garden the best thing might be to see what comes up in the spring and also take some pictures of your garden now so you know what is in flower or looking good that you want to keep or dig up. There are alot of knowledgeable people on the forum (I have found) that will help with advice.
I agree with Gardenmaiden, dont go mad digging,everything out. Wait and see what comes up, you might like some things and not others. Good luck with both garden and baby!
