Didn't see this thread until just now ... didn't see the programme either ... but I agree, the mountains climbed by the entrants in the Invictus games are humbling, as are the achievements of the Paralympians; those with physical difficulties and also those with learning disabilities.
They are true heroes.

A friend of mine was pootling along on his little motorbike at 40mph when a car came out of a side road, didn't see him and knocked him off his bike. His back landed on a kerb stone and that was it. Instantly a paraplegic.
