    The fruits are interesting as Chicky says.  Flat and circular, you can see through them, so there's no disguising whether they have seeds or not.  Hence the name.

    They will self-seed, moderately, and are easy to pull up if they appear where they're not wanted.  One of our more civilised weeds.  Sorry, wild plants.

    And the latin name is Lunaria - or moon-shaped, as the seed pods look like the moon image

    Over here they're called "monnaie de pape" Pope's money.   There's a white flowered version too.
