Shed colours

Hi All
We are hoping to paint a new shed and summer house this week (with the offer on at Wickes at the moment hoping to buy today).
We have Cuprinol Willow painted on our dividing fences (divides patio area from main garden), and also used Willow on trellises and bird table.
We are looking for inspiration from your photos of what we should use. Thinking of maybe Cuprinol Seagrass or Muted Clay with white painted around window frames etc.

Barn Black for me. Forms a wonderful backdrop.
I alway use Red Cedar shed and tence paint..Very good. But its a personal preference really.
I would say go as wild as you want too, it's your shed and garden, the more adventurous you are the better, and the more you'll feel at home.
You will be glad you did.I painted my shed with the Purple Shades paint and added cream around the window edges and the two half doors I was a little worried at first but i love it, my garden is my playground.
We like the colour our shed has faded to, but there doesn't seem to be a clear preservative available. Any I've found online are intended as an undercoat before painting. If anyone knows of the equivalent of clear Cuprinol or similar, I'd love to hear about it.
Hi KT53 the Cuprinal range 'Shades' are lovely colours and are a preservative too.
I know of the Shades range, but I just want something to preserve the timber without changing the colour. Yacht varnish would do the job but I don't want a shiny shed or to need to do it every year.

Just asked Hubby ( Painter and Decorator ) and he says Sadolin do a clear solvent based wood preservative.
Thanks Hostafan. Looking on the Sadolin site, they state that the clear preservatives must be coated with stain or paint which does defeat the object somewhat
I used the clear Sadloin on my now 45yr old cedar shed about 15yrs ago. It could do with another coat now, but has lasted extremely well, and faces due south

Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
We are going for willow with country cream trimmings but won't be any pix until the weather improves enought o start painting
