Help with white furry mould on freshly planted chiilies

I have got some chillies in a planter in my kitchen but it has started to get white furry mould growing on the compost. I have used coffee grounds on it. Is this normal? If not, how do I sort this out? Thanks in advance.

Spray with BioSystemic funghicide.. beaware it might be too late....Itseith Downy or powdery mildew... Scrape of as muchof the fungus on the soil and discard it..  Do not water late in the day but early in the morning and do notover water..

Try to get them out in the air as the weather is warming up now..

It sounds like mould rather than mildew, probably due to the tol of the soil being too damp. Can you bottom water? A pot can be watered by placing water in a tray beneath, making sure it is all taken up, don't allow them to get wet feet.
