  Hi. Yes the leaves were coming out green. The trunk is very thick so it seems old. It looked like it had been pruned alot

  Might be Prunus 'Ukon', the flowers have that creamy yellow look.

  'Ukon' is also a more upright plant and the flowers, from what I have seen, rather more cup shaped and smaller.
