Black tulips ID

Would anyone know the name of these tulips please? They are not a colour I would choose but our daughter likes black & purple colours....... it's just a phase she will grow out of it,

I'll go with that nutcutlet - thanks - they are quite striking and so far the wind hasn't damaged them at all. Wasn't there a book or film called the Black Tulip some time ago?

Paul Scherer is another nice dark tulip (in my opinion anyway; I have many in the garden) she might be interested in!

(Can't post a click able link due to being in my phone)

Needs careful positioning on is own or it gets lost agaist the background. Nice with silver leaved things, or mix with other tulips: yellow, pinky-purple (I used Barcelona), add to lilac and white for a bit of backbone, or you can go fo some real drama, like this,  with lily-flowered Redshine and anemonesimage

I agree with Clari, I don't think it is Q. of the N., it looks like P. Scherer to me.

How can you lie there and think of England

That's a lovely display Buttercupdays - they do look well together. Our black Q. of the Night or Bl. Knight had creamy white tulips in the same pot but they finished before the black ones had even come into bud which is a pity as they were sold together in the same packet so we assumed that they would flower at the same time.
