Lobelia and Nemesia Seeds
Hi,
My wife usually does all the planting and seeds etc but is very unwell atm so I am doing it. We dont have a greenhouse but a covered in side porch where our tomato plants have just popped through.
She has planted the Lobelia and Nemesia seeds last Wednesday in two multi cell polystyrene trays and covered with about 1/8th inch of soil. When should i water these as the soil is v dry and would a sprayer be better? Also do they have to be covered over with anything, they are indoors on our dining room table.
Regards
Alan

To be honest, it's not worth doing those now, they should be ready for planting out in a couple of weeks. Lobelia is slow growing, it's the only one it set in February, you would be better buying some plants for this year and doing them earlier next year.
Ok does at apply to Nemesia as well?
Me personally would still plant the Lobelia as they will still keep going until first frost , you will get colour late in the season use them for gap fillers .
