Nematodes.
I did use it year's ago didn't find anything wrong with other plants, but it wasn't effective against the slugs so didn't use it again

There are thousands of species of nematodes, some beneficial, some a problem, most neutral.
To lump them all together as 'nematodes' isn't helpful
