Newly planted Common Laurel Care

Hi, How often and how much should I be watering my newly planted Laurels (planted last Sunday. Pots x6 - 2.5ft laurels) I have pruned the tops slightly also as I'm led to believe this is beneficial. When planting I mixed in organic compost with original soil and Fish, blood and bone fertiliser. I think I've done everything right! Just need to know the watering regime. I have a clay based soil. Thanks.
