I'm really annoyed as well - with OH away I was planning to put my feet up with a glass of wine and watch GW.  BBC take note, us gardeners will unite against you soon.

How can we Lizzie, they hold all the cards?  Ooh, we could film our own programme, just need a burly man in a jumper and two mischievous dogs apparentlyimage

By the way I have neither so may need help there.  I do have a million 9cm pots and a bit of compost for the potting up scenes though.

  • Oh Well ????... Posted about this a year ago regarding Snooker ... disappointed to say the least ... the BBC should move GW programme to a night that does not clash with sports???
  • "Burly", Jekylandhide?  Monty?  Nah.  Fit, YES but not "burly".  Just splendidly fit and magically serene.  Exactly what the doctor ordered for Friday evenings!

The BBC are a load of jobsworths. No consideration at all for us gardeners.

  • If they can change other sports to another channel, why can they not do it with the Snooker?

Us gardeners are really busy getting our gardens sorted, and just only half an hour of GW is not surely going to upset the BBC.

As always they have the last word? They ask us to say what we feel and voice our opinions but they do not listen anyway.

Anyway I hope that the weather is not too bad this weekend, so Happy Gardening to you all this Bank Holiday.

maybe if we bombard them with complaints, rather than grumbling, they might take the hint?

    Devon.
  • I think all t.v. channels are missing a trick here.  Surely we are crying out for a gardening channel all for ourselves.  Some hope!
