I was impressed with my aeonium which I had kept in an unheated shed over the winter because this was what I found.

Thank you Verdun! I've had them for a few years but had never seen a flower before. I always keep them in the house, or the shed this year as this one was getting too big.
Aeoniums are related to sempervivums, so the flowering rosette will die afterwards. Fortunately you have other rosettes which will live.
I hadn't up to now Verdun but it's a lovely flower and attracted early bees after I had moved it into the greenhouse. Yes, I fully expected the rosette to die Alan Clark2, thank you. I think aeoniuns are quite spectacular plants, growing from a broken off rosette.
