    That is a line about 6 ft long. About 50 bulbs that were dug up as tiddlers a couple of years ago and then grown on. I will use them as cut flowers.

    Have you got Allium karataviense? they have a couple of broad grey leaves and flower later on in the year, after the usual ones that flower for Chelsea

    I've no idea which variety, but the one you suggest seems likely so perhaps they'll flower.  Just planted them to add a bit of interest dotted around my grasses.
