Thanks for that Hostafan, I will have a good look in to that, looks like they have some nice ones on there.
WOW how many and my husband thinks I have enough, I have lots the labels for most of mine, but I know they are the more common ones you see, I bet your garden looks stunning when they are in full leaf, I am so jealous, over 1,300 you must be so dedicated, I take it you have a very big garden to get that many in. It must look stunning.

Lorna, there's a FAB hosta supplier in Ballymena. Google Bali hai hostas and you'll find details. They only do mail order so you'll find tons there.
I think I'm at 108 named and about 15 un-named ( the labels faded, oops ) but over 1,300 individual plants.

I could only wish to have that many Verdun, mind you my garden is not big enough
I can't say I have a favourite I do like all the ones you mentioned especially Liberty,
Mine are at different stages some are just poking through and some have there leafs open.
Sore point Verdun.
Gold Standard was the variety which came down with the dreaded:
HOSTA VIRUS X.
if it has no signs, it should be fine.
My supplier said it is spread via roots, so in a pot it should be fine ,and have no effect on others.
I have to confess I've not removed mine and it has not spread, but I'm constantly vigilant.
We do become attached to our plant don't we?
I was looking at one of my hemerocallis yesterday: peeky or virus? destroy , or feed and give it a chance?????
Life's little quandaries.
