Thanks for your help everyone - I will get some of those Lyn for my sowing, they look great. I'm going to persevere with the beans, but sow some more in case. My tomato seedlings are coming through now as well, but will take advice and not plant anything more out until weather changes . Thanks again.
I have some of those root trainers. They are very poor quality, the plastic is the thinnest and cheapest I have ever seen, but they do work. Nutleys do stronger ones that are similar.
