ACERS

Hello,

I have an Acer palmatum "Kinshi" and I have just noticed that this year at the bottom of the plant it has sprouted 3 small leaves. These leaves are different to the "Kinshi" leaves being green with a bright red edge to them.I assume that this is from the stock plant.Do I treat it like a sucker from a rose, even though its only 3 leaves, and rip them off? and if I don't will the original stock take over and kill the "Kinshi" graft.Advice please.

                           Thank you.
