bare root patio tree

I've been looking at peach and nectarine dwarf trees to put in half barrels. Is it too late to plant bare rooted? Offer below 2 for £25. It's the price of 1 potted up, so go for it or pass? (1 good potted tree is better than 2 bare root if they're not going to grow well...)
