Sunny and dry and warm out of the wind. the wind though is cold. Right now the wind has fallen light ...ominous for tonight then with the clear skies In the west it has been good today but the east of Cornwall has has sleet, snow and rain.
it is quite a mixture of weather
I can vouch for that, seems funny pricking out seedlings in the snow.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
Anyone had a chance to do any gardening today? Its nice here in Dorset now but am having dinner so watering greenhouse is all I will have time to do I think. I am hoping for better weather tomorrow as intend to be in the grarden all day.
VERY blustery NNW wind here, though mostly sunny: thus it's quite cosy in the greenhouse (unheated but reaching 25 C) - just watch out when you emerge!! *[Two lines of washing dried in record time, so not all bad! "It's an ill wind..."]. **Driving back from the Midlands yesterday it was mostly sunny, + odd showers near Welsh Borders. Vital 'comfort stop' at Carmarthen GC resulted in a dozen 'ailing' half-priced tomato plants - so a rush to get their roots into some of my tasty compost; needed riddling to exclude odd twigs, wireworms & banana labels. Hasty watering of drooping early potato haulms in buckets 'cos it's apparently been quite warm whilst I was away...
East Sussex and had a big thunder storm, a bit unfortunate as I was doing surgery under local anaesthetic at the time and my patient who has a thunder phobia was having hysterics.
Sunny with very cold wind and had shower of hailstones this afternoon. Weather forecast is cold and dry for the rest of the week. From the weekend onwards the weather temperature to improve in SW Ireland.

Hail, rain, wind, sun as far east as W Flanders (same latitude as E Sussex etc,) Looks like a nice evenig out there, but cold.
Cleared lesser celandine from 3/4 of a small bed in prep for planting miscellaneous bulbs we found in the shed. Made a box to cover pipes in the shed.
