    Argh the words have gone!

    Twp bushes. Greeny one I think have pink flowers.

    Purple one is very tall and leggy with spikes on branches.



    Both need a good prune, I need advice how!

    Ooh agree spirea Japonica thanks. Its had a harsh chair cut as looks like never had one. Lits of deadwood in middle image

    How best to prune the other one?
