The white variegated honesty is good
Sidalceas don't mind a bit of shade, I've used the white ones to follow on from foxgloves, though not quite as tall.
Astrantias are nice too, white/pink/green and 'Sunningdale' gives you pretty variegated foliage too when not in flower.
If it's not too dry, some Hostas for more foliage to lighten dark corners and there are white flowered ones too.
Not wooduff, it will take over and you will curse it. Nice for a woodland floor, not a 'normal' garden
