From a personal point of view lucid, unless something is very definitely a weed and needs to be "got out" I tend to leave my little self seedlings. They clearly like where they are and tend to thrive. They're called "happy accidents".
This is the garden of another forum user and I look at it often. I'm sure she won't mind me posting it as she has herself. Check out that little foxglove!!
It's my favourite of all time and I've seen some crackers on here. When misery creeps on me, as it sometimes does, I look at that picture. I have it on my phone as well.

I recently found an escholtzia growing out of a wall in my garden, it definitely wasn't there a few weeks ago! Photo today.
The leaves sort of look like Malva moschata.
