WHAT IS MUNCHING MY TETE A TETE?

Can anyone suggest what is eating the flower heads off my tete a tetes? We moved house last year so they are newly planted and this is their first year of flowering. The stalks and leaves appear undamaged and I cant see any caterpillars. Please help!!

Slugs have had a munch of a clump of daffs here, although they've left others alone.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Most likely slugs - they seem to prefer certain daffs over others, as Dove says. image

All of ours got eaten too and the hyacinths much to my annoyance. I'm not sure who did it image

Out of 14 pheasants eye narcissus l planted last autumn l have 5 flowers. Snails nibbled the flower buds when they were only a few inches tall but didn't touch any leaves, rotters!  Next year I'll be prepared with a few pellets. Sparrows have been at my native primroses for weeks now pulling off the buds, but l don't mind. The wood pigeons have been eating all the food l try and hide around the garden for the blackbirds and robins who aren't keen on feeding from the birdtable. As soon as l pull up my kitchen blind all the birds come and wait for me to replenish their supplies. I swear Mrs Blackbird sits on my shed roof and eyeballs me until l go out and restock. So it's kettle on , top up feeding stations, then a long strong coffee watching the birds and their shenanigans.l just wish they'd all search for and eat slugs too while they were visiting.

Same thing happened to mine. I get a lot of those tiny black slugs nibble mine leaving them a bit ragged, but this year they ate the lot!image
