Bloody dandelions

If I was as good at growing plants as I am at growing dandelions, I would be a happy man! 

What's most effective way of getting rid of dandelions.

    Pick off any flower heads (stops any more seeds) treat the leaves with a systemic weedkiller like glyphosphate, the plant will take it through the leaves down into the roots and kill the plant. Do this on a dry day or it will wash off. I think you can buy a gel now that's a but more sticky than a spray.
