I and various younger members of my family are quite batty in various ways as my avatar would indicate. Serious battiness is a strong genetic trait in my past as I was prone to standing in the middle of various rivers, wearing wellingtons, waders or even wet suits and SHOUTING instructions to the field study groups I was tutoring!! I put it all down to having been born young...
