Weed killer for new(ish) lawn

Hello there,

We moved into a new house in September 2015 and the lawn was laid on the 18th of that month.

Whilst that means it's over 6-months old and most lawn products say that they can be used on lawns that are 6-months old, I'd still prefer to use a product that is safe to use on newer lawns to prevent any chance at all of damage to the lawn.

I have fed the lawn a couple of times with "Empathy Seaweed Lawn Feed"  and the grass is fairly healthy but there are a number of broad leaf weeds (lettuce looking?) that I would like to take care of.

Thanks in advance

Leigh, spot treat them with that roundup gel stick. Although these products say you can treat a lawn after six months it's not at all wise. You usually leave it 12 months. The weeds you describe are probably plantains and they're easy to get rid of. You can hand weed those out.
