  I was wondering if it is a guelder rose (Viburnum opulus),  a British native tree which has white flowers followed by berries.

  I've seen the other thread now and I'm glad we all seem to agree that it's a guelder rose. As you say "Great Minds" 

  Hope you get some flowers on it, they are quite pretty.
