These are both Japanese cultivars, parentage not known, but I would think that you are right Darren, the Doctor Mary possibly pitcher with integrifolia ?, she doesn't climb and is only about 1 metre high, the Tamakazura is listed at Joy Creek Nursery in USA, Lynne, and I suspect crispa parentage with possibly texensis providing the colour, one of the best reds I have.
thank you for the info. Mr. Hodson. We cannot bring plants across the border into Canada and i cannot find a nursery in Canada offering these. Very frustrating when i see the lovely plants growing in the UK.
