  • Hi hollie hock, they are still in deep containers that you get when buying plants from suppliers one seed per section but ready to pot on. I will do as you advise and enjoy,i did'nt think! so sowed the whole packet ! i now have an abundance of lovely (soon to be bushy) cosmos candy stripe. Thanks very much.

If it were mine at 50 cms tall, I would chop it in half, make a plant 25 cms, it will them branch out from lower down rather than just from the top.

  • Hi Verdun, i planted Cosmos Purity and Candy stripe at the same time i'm still waiting for the purity to surface ! All the rest of my different plantings have come through ok eg sunflowers two types, zinnia, gazannia, cherry toms, toms from a bought on the vine, and runner beans,so i;m going to be busy. L O L.

  • Thanks Verdun i will,i totally agree with you about it being exiting,i used to work away from home only coming home once a month for two days so i never got to enjoy my garden, but i've retired this year so now am making up for lost time(alough my back is aching lol)
