Bare root rose - in or out of water tonight?

Hi, I've had a bare root rose in water for almost 24hours as I've kept meaning to plant it. I won't get round to it til tomorrow morning now. Should I leave it in the water or take out? Don't want to dry it out nor drown it! Thanks

...don't worry about it, just plant it when you're ready.... I normally soak for half hour but I've known people leave them in a bucket for 2 weeks, and there are people out there who grow bare root roses in water troughs...and they bloom too...
...no need to fret..
I'd take it out but wrap the roots in damp newspaper or an old damp cloth to keep them from drying out.
i left mine in a bucket for 10 days then planted them they are doing fine

I've just planted a patio rose that's been in a bucket since last autumn.
It still had all its packaging around it. Got it from the poundshop. Thought it would be dead. Seems fine.
Plant it ASAP as they are growing strongly now. As it's been in water for 24 hours, take it out and wrap it in a plastic bag and plant it tomorrow.
