I have seed heads at the top of each fallen flower stem..when they pop over they will self seed. How do I get them before this? When can I do it? Thanks
They stand up again as the seed heads dry and the seed matures, the seed stays put for ages.
Wait till they're dry and brown and the pod opens. The collect them and sow them, don't save them, do what the plant does, sows its seed when it's ripe and leaves it out in the cold.
