i agree with the Eleagnus for pic 1. What about 2 being a type of Escallonia and 4 a gold/yellow variety of Cotinus Coggyria ?

4 could be exochorda 'the bride" - will be able to tell better when the flowers open. If it is, then when the flowers are over you end up with seed pods that look like little star anise.
I think chicky is right, Exochorda, the seed cases give it away as they are quite distinct.
