    It was Neslay in Suffolk when I was a child, but only in our house. In the playground it was Nessles.



    And it was cafay in our house but in the playground it was caff.

    The thing that drives me nuts is when people say a bit when referring to liquid, especially on food programmes. In my world ( and it can be an odd one)  small amounts of poured liquid are drops not bits..anyone seen a rain bit?

    Brenda I enjoyed reading Milton Paradise Lost out loud, it sounded like broad Yorkshire to me. His throate was cut thro to the neck bone..I remember it well image Bard's Tale Maybe..it's a long time ago.
