Too bright for me as well. The text gets blurred after a few lines.

Hazel, I agree with you, it's too white for me too, I liked the old format. Why was there a need to change it? How do you send photos? No oak tree. Our avatar pictures are much smaller and you can't see the number of posts people have done, which I like because you can tell if they are a newish poster.

This thread also appeared on the first page when I had it set to appear at the last page.

Maybe. we could all decide to use one part of the forum and ignore the rest.  Potting shed or talkback it doesn't matter. Power to the people!!

    In London. Keen but lazy.
  • New format is disappointing to say the least ... agree with many who already posted on similar threads that it's too time consuming scrolling down thru' pages. Old format was better you could see all the posted threads on one page and quicker to navigate. Also don't think many gardeners will spend too much time on this new forum with the busy season ahead of us.  Pity Nora and Co couldn't have adapted the old format to include uploading photos from mobiles rather than changing the whole thing image

Even worse - "unfollow" is bright purple which encourages you to click it when you don't want to!

My own pet hates concern the ridiculous cooking progs on tv, cooking food that probably 0.1 per cent of the population would ever order. Roasted vegetables, and pan fried this or that, oh please, it's roast and fried, unless there's another way of frying that I haven't heard about.

I suppose there is deep fat frying, as in a chip pan.
