    My  uniforms were blue at any school I went to. I'm not overly keen on blue but there was much worse in another school!  Dog poo brown skirts and tights with baby poo yellow shirts.image

    My school blazer was bottle-green  No idea why they chose that,  Hideous.

    Maybe the hideous colours and styles guaranteed to be unflattering were the equivalent of burkhas to keep us pure or maybe it was to foster inventiveness and design skills needed to improve the look by a tuck here and a shortened hem there

    At least we looked like we were wearing a skirt, I cannot believe what I see coming out from the secondary schools nowdays! Leather satchels are very "in", now
