Hi-could anyone recommend some good plants or shrubs for a small north facing garden.
Any advice welcome -thank you ????

Hi there,
Depending if you've got dry or damp shade but many woodland dwelling plants grow happily in a north facing border. Wood anemones, bluebells, hellebores and foxgloves. You can grow Japanese anemones (can be thugs and grow all over), heucheras, tiarellas. Some roses don't mind some shade such as New dawn rose and for climbers climbing hydrangea and some clematis such as nelly Moser.
Is your garden in complete shade or does it get Sun at some parts of the day?
Hope you've got a few ideas, a trip to your local nursery would be helpful also
