Seaweed mulch questions
in Plants
My red currents LOVE liquid seaweed, along with the honeysuckle that is growing in the same bed, since I've been using it I've seen overall better health in all of the bushes and climbers. I've recently bought dried seaweed (6kg-£23) I'd like to use it as a mulch but I do not know how thickly it should be applied, my idea would be the same as any other mulch and apply it at 3inches. What are people's experience with this as a mulch? How quickly does it break down? Does it mat down and cause problems? Thank yo

(sometimes when I give links they sometimes mess up) The website doesn't specify any added ingredients. "Simply dried and bagged it then begins the journey..."
