Can anyone give tell me why most of my Daffodils and Tulips in tubs have not flowered this year but their are plenty of leaves and is it worth while keeping them.
My garden is south by southwest and fairly shady and any bulbs I plant don't come out until end of April or May usually including daffs. My daffodils haven't flowered yet this year they are just very leafy.
The front is sunny and they are out much earlier so it could just be too early for your garden.
Let the leaves die down naturally and even if you get no flowers this year they should come next year.
The Daffs and Tulips have been in the same tubs for about 3years. I have always let them die back naturally and they have always been beautiful but haven't fed them .That must be the problem.

When did you plant them? Have they been fed and their soil topped up? Could they be "blind" (Starved) ?
Thank you for the replies .
