BL - that's gorgeous and with a proper 'cat slide roof' at the back - and not far from a mainline train station with a half-hourly service to London!
Properly done the house and the barn would be worth at least a million each, possibly a lot more - if only I was still in the building business (but then I'd still be with the ex )
We renovated a very similar property not far from there about 30 years ago.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I am a rightmove addict and to be honest unless you have a load of money the south coast where we live also will not fulfil your needs.
We looked at buying land, having a smallholding or buying a large piece of land with a mooring attached and living on a houseboat but it all came to nothing. The councils on the south coast are incredibly strict and will make your life a misery with their rules and regulations.
If you want somewhere with loads of land you really need to be looking at places like Powys or Cornwall.
Dove ..... pansyface ........ Busy-Lizzie ........ just imagine these houses when they'd been newly built ....... how proud their owners must've been. How productive the lands might have been ....... It's sad to see them in the state they are now ......

Norfolk also can get land up there fairly cheaply still.
