Pruning gooseberry bushes

Hi guysimage  I've just watched beech grove  and he pruned his gooseberry bushes  Should I give mine a further going over if so how far back should I go ? They are in big pots and around 18"-24" long stems  also just starting to show shoots . I've looked on line but utube says to do it when plant is dormant

I did mine in February - then in July I trim the new sideshoots back to 5 leaves.

Maybe up in Beechgrove-land the season's a bit late?
