That is going to be one gorgeous park when its finished.
Will be nice to have something of this calibre in this part of the country. Always envious when folk say they've 'just been to Wisley' as there is nowhere like that within easy reach. While there are some great gardens to visit in the North West, there aren't nearly as many as in the south. Harlow Carr is a decent drive away, but at least do-able in a day. I have no chance whatsoever of visiting the other two, distance and cost rule them out completely.
It will be a wonderful resource for north western gardeners to pop into for a while or a day as and when they can.
Been to Harlow Carr once and thoroughly enjoyed it but, like Wisley, it's too big to see in just one day so needs several trips. We'll be visiting Harlow Carr in May but I can't see us getting to Rosemoor as it's so far.
Great to have such a good spread. Now they just need funds and resources for RHS gardens in Wales and Scotland and NI.
Exciting, we are just down the road in Boothstown too. Where abouts are you James?
On Birchfield Drive just off Standsfield
I'm just on Ellenbrook Road! lets hope for some sun this weekend
same here be interested in the challenge for the RHS for sun levels in our area
I got my worst sunburn ever just south of Manchester.....it doesn't rain all of the time.
Yeah we get some sun its mainly the days like today with a heavy cloud base we get more round here.
