    My soil is fairly neutral I think. We planted it when we moved in here (1998) and only in the last 5 years or so has it put in good growth. Strange image

    I bought three for here, very acid soil, they were only Parkers 1.99 bare roots, four years ago, they've grown to about 3'6" so far, they have lovely red leaves in the autumn, hadn't noticed berries although they do flower.
    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
