I have had some plants in the garden for a few years. Although i have fed and mulched each year i just cannot get a good display of flowers.(white and pink). They are planted in full sun, exposed borders. I am know wondering if they would be better in the shade or a damp border.Any thoughts please.

Agree with Verdun, mine grow better with a little shade, although do ok. in full sun. I always give them a mulch with leaf mould.

….  and don't forget to remove the old leaves when the new growth begins.  I've had mine now for several years, and found that it did take time before they settled and flowered well - how long have yours been in?  They do relish some shade it is true, when happy they will seed about quietly.

Mine go crazy in sun and shade and I don't really do anything to them. They are on acid heavy clay so maybe it's the soil. What kind of soil do you have?
