I have a huge strawberry tree and it is covered in black spotty leaves yet again....what completely cures this or is it time to give up and dig up???/

Read this then decide whether or not you want to experiment with fungicide on the whole tree or give up and burn the thing.
the tree has been growing well for 12 years always had some spotting but it is worse this year, it grows in acid soil in the ground, fairly sheltered but open site.....really love it but it does look poorly...tried to upload a picture for you but not working? on mac pro anyhow????

can someone help with this tree, I dont want to chop it down as I love it...what can I do?????
